San Francisco Weekend

Just thought I'd share our latest travel trip. We drove to SF for the long Labor Day weekend to visit my oldest. He's living in the city and working a 1/2 hour away. Still such a short a time to stay in a city I love everytime I visit, no matter what we do. This is a photo of glorious eggplant and squash at the farmer's market at the ferry landing.

Just fabulous colors in the fruits, flowers and veggies.

And we had such a great time going for amazing thai food, visiting the Filoli estate, cruising to Napa and taking in some awesome jazz and blues in North Beach. Now that we have someone who we can stay with, my poor son will have his mom dropping in at least twice a year! They had fun too, since we dragged them along everywhere we went. They've never had such a busy weekend! Well, ta ta for now!
